Fowler is a bruising player that is a threat to play as either a rock-meet-hard-place power back that Saban loves to deploy in the fourth quarter or a well-balanced, hard-hitting linebacker, projected at either the inside of strong-side.

Fowler is in a weird position, with regards to his high school career. Because of his age, he has been ruled as ineligible for the 2009 high school season. But according to Vigor Head Coach Kerry Stevenson, he will help coach the Wolves running back corps this fall.

He is precisely the type of player that Saban loves to recruit. He has fallen largely under the radar, due to some concerns regarding his height, but mostly due to his ineligibility for the 2009 prep season. However most experts agree that the kid has a huge upside and with the proper motivation and fundamentals, could explode at the next level on either side of the ball.
