Hubbard transferred his junior year and didn't play during that time.  With very little film to build on he was an unknown for most of the recruiting season.  Once his tapes finally hit the coaching circles, it was an all out war for his commitment.  Adrian cashed in on 102 tackles and 10 sacks his senior year.

"He has great size and a wonderful frame to develop. Despite some time away from the game he displays a good feel for it and good strength. He can be explosive off the ball and will use his reach well though he will need to work still to keep bigger blockers off of him at the college level. He has the speed you like to see in an SEC lineman. He has great upside as a pass rusher with his raw physical tools and he shows flashes now."
