Coach Saban got a late phone call tonight from Jarrick and I'm gonna guess he was happy to wake up for it.  Williams is one of the most physical safeties on the board and is ranked in the top 5 for the position by the majority of the recruiting services.  Being a physical player is always a plus for a safety, but it's his quickness that is the most impressive.  His coach has said that he has added quite a bit of muscle, and...he's actually gotten faster despite gaining almost 15 lbs since his sophomore year. 

Known for his ability to stop the run and excellent open field tackling abilities, Williams is the perfect fit for Alabama's secondary.  ESPN recruiting has this to say, "Displays the ability to play man in goal line situations; can't be out jumped on the fade route. Williams has few weaknesses and really possesses excellent safety skills already".

Jarrick Williams is either in the top 100, or ranked on every watch list in recruiting.  He is the 16th commitment for the Tide.
