Menzie had a tremendous freshman season for Co-Lin making 28 tackles (15 solo, 13 assists), one tackle for loss, five interceptions, breaking up nine passes and also causing a fumble.

Menzie came to the Magnolia State after failing to qualify academically out of high school. He had a stellar career at Carver High School leading his team to the Class AAA State Championship and earning first-team All-State honors by The Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Not a whole lot on Menzie as far as scouting reports go except that he is a pure cover corner with a nose for the football.  Obviously with the Tide's depleted secondary, it was a focus to go with elite corners in this class.  Dequan makes the 4th true corner in the class, but initially what makes him stand out is his experience coming from JUCO.
